Movie Night: Happiness (1934; 64 minutes)
Thanks to the generous donations of many people–like you!–we finally have a beautiful new video projector and want to celebrate! Join us for popcorn, our appreciation, and Alexander Medvedkin’s Happiness, a silent-film satire of life in the Soviet Union for peasants in the 1930s. This sharp and witty comedy lampoons both repressive czarist corporatism and the new hypocritical Bolshevik order.

Bay Area Anarchist Salon & Potluck
The Station 40 Events Collective is pleased to host the Bay Area Anarchist Salon, a monthly facilitated conversation by and for anarchists. Each salon features a specific question, which we then answer together, and a potluck meal.
Question: “As anarchists, what strategies do we have to build community mental health support in a world gone mad?”
Initial respondents: Oona Beall (HAVOQ), Danni Biondini (Icarus Project), Li Morales (HAVOQ), and Jacks McNamara (Icarus Project).
